Moderate lower crowding, non-extraction
Crowded lower incisors resolved with IPR and modest expansion, keeping the upper arch changes minimal.

- IPR
- Planned position
Presentation
Adult patient, Class I molars, 5 mm of lower anterior crowding with a rotated lower canine. Upper arch well aligned with mild spacing. Patient asked for no extractions and a short treatment.
Planning approach
- Lower arch: 2.4 mm of staged IPR from canine to canine, 1.5 mm of transverse expansion in the premolar region.
- Rotated canine derotated early with an optimised attachment and overcorrection built into the setup.
- Upper arch: light alignment only, spaces consolidated to keep the overjet stable.
Setup outcome
Alignment achieved in the setup without changing the molar relationship. Refinement planned for final incisor torque.
