Presentation

Adult patient booked for six upper veneers. Mild rotations on both lateral incisors and a slightly retruded canine that would have needed heavy preparation.

Planning approach

  1. Rotations and canine position corrected in 12 stages, with the final positions agreed with the restorative dentist against the wax-up.
  2. Upper incisor edges left slightly short of the final line so the veneers carry the length.
  3. Retention planned before the preparation appointment.

Setup outcome

Anterior positions matched the wax-up in the setup, reducing the planned preparation depth.

Class II div 1, moderate upper crowding, patient refuses extractions. Is this doable with aligners?

  2. Yes. I would stage sequential distalisation and start Class II elastics from stage 1. Send the lower scan and photos and I will build a setup you can review.

  3. Sending now. Can we keep the lower incisors where they are?

    14:21
  4. We can limit proclination to about 2° and hold the rest with the elastics. I will show you both versions.
